Maintenance Supervisor – Industrial Manufacturing

About the role

Exide Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its automotive division in Azuqueca de Henares, Spain. The role is responsible for organizing and controlling both corrective and preventive maintenance activities across the plant to maximise machine availability and minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and schedule action plans for breakdown repairs, preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Prepare documentation, spare‑part lists and supervise new electrical installations and their commissioning.
• Negotiate spare‑part specifications and delivery times with suppliers.
• Perform hands‑on maintenance tasks and monitor maintenance performance indicators.
• Collaborate with engineering on improvements, modifications and new installations.
• Control subcontractor work, ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental procedures.
• Manage the spare‑parts warehouse and oversee working‑hour vouchers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in automotive or battery manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations.
• Ability to lead a team, communicate procedures and train workers on safe practices.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on reducing equipment downtime.
