Maintenance Technician – Production

About the role

We are seeking an experienced electromechanical maintenance technician to join our production maintenance team at the Xeresa plant in Valencia, Spain. The role involves ensuring the reliability and continuous operation of fruit‑processing and other industrial machinery through preventive and corrective maintenance, while working rotating morning and afternoon shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fruit processing and industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical faults.
• Monitor production line equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Minimize equipment downtime through timely maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Carry out inspections and routine maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
• Follow company safety procedures, maintenance standards, and quality requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.

Required profile

• Vocational training (intermediate level) in electromechanics, electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and provide operational support when required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
