Manager, Account Management and Business Development B2B Travel

About the role

Mastercard's Commercial and New Payment Flows B2B Travel team is looking for a Manager to keep its travel solutions among the best and most innovative in the market, so that travel industry partners have access to the best Mastercard solutions and experience. The team builds strategic partnerships with key players in the travel industry to shape the future of travel payments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage global accounts of key strategic partners to grow the existing business and identify new partnership opportunities beyond the core relationship.
• Support partners' growth and expansion plans from a business and operational perspective, driving joint opportunities together with other parts of Mastercard.
• Coordinate deal preparation, negotiation and contracting with Finance, Legal and other internal functions to execute commercial opportunities.
• Define a joint strategic and marketing plan, including mapping business opportunities, sponsoring industry events and joint thought leadership.
• Monitor trends and needs in the travel space, especially B2B payments, and add new elements to the value proposition.

Required profile

• Experience in account management and business development, preferably in the B2B travel payments industry.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong collaborator able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a cross-functional, international environment.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, with strong planning, organizational and prioritization skills.
