Managing Director – Technology Communications (Spain)

About the role

The Managing Director will lead a globally recognised technology communications agency in Spain, driving growth, reputation and market expansion across the Iberian Peninsula. Reporting to European leadership, the role combines strategic communications, business development and senior client advisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial growth strategy for Spain and the wider Iberian region.
• Identify, nurture and convert new business opportunities within AI, SaaS, fintech, cybersecurity, enterprise technology and digital infrastructure sectors.
• Lead high‑level pitches, proposals and commercial negotiations to secure new accounts.
• Maintain and deepen senior client relationships, acting as a strategic advisor to C‑suite stakeholders, founders and investors.
• Oversee delivery of integrated communications programmes, including media strategy, reputation management and thought‑leadership initiatives.
• Mentor, develop and inspire a high‑performing agency team.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial leader with strong entrepreneurial instincts and business acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, convert and grow strategic opportunities in the technology and innovation ecosystem.
• Experience advising C‑suite executives and managing high‑profile, sensitive communications matters.
• Track record of driving revenue growth, profitability and overall business performance.
