Manufacturing Engineer – Space Electronics

About the role

A manufacturing engineer position is open at Airbus CRISA in Tres Cantos (Madrid area). The role supports the industrialization department by providing the technical and digital means needed to execute manufacturing and test processes for space electronic equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Define manufacturing documentation, flow charts, and assembly instructions for space electronics.
• Review PCB designs, part lists, and bills of materials to ensure manufacturability, cost, and quality.
• Identify and design specific jigs, tools, and wave selective soldering programs.
• Support design‑for‑manufacturing implementation and interface with mechanical and electrical designers.
• Prepare manufacturing dossiers in internal tools (AIC, PAT, PLD) and assist the shop floor with technical queries.
• Contribute to non‑conformity resolution and harmonisation of processes across sites.

Required profile

• Higher education (Bachelor or Master) in Aeronautic, Industrial or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in space electronics.
• Strong knowledge of ECSS requirements and lean manufacturing principles.
• Fluent English (C1); French is a plus.
• Proactive, methodical, autonomous and a team player.
