Materiel Solutions and IP Engineer

About the role

An opportunity for a Materiel Solutions and IP Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Materiel Solutions & Services Team, responsible for researching and analysing spares planning and logistics data to create high‑value contracts for Initial Provisioning, Customized Spares Logistics and Customized Lead‑Time, supporting customer process improvements across major defence programmes such as Eurodrone.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in Eurodrone supplier selection, analysing material services contributions and part requirements.
• Develop customised spare parts lists (IPL and RSPL) using aircraft configuration systems knowledge to meet Customer and ADS requirements.
• Represent Airbus Defence and Space directly in front of the Customer during Initial Provisioning milestones.
• Generate comprehensive technical and operational documentation to support overall Material Solution definitions.
• Align all Materiel Services functional and performance aspects across internal Airbus teams, partner companies, suppliers and nations.
• Consolidate integrated data, cost bases and assumptions to build precise bidding dossiers and enhance spares modelling accuracy.

Required profile

• Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in MRO, engineering design or manufacturing.
• Advanced level in English (written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance, technical manuals and advanced Microsoft Excel.
