Offshore Engineer

About the role

Brezo Energy is seeking an Offshore Engineer to support the design and development of floating offshore wind projects. The role will involve working on multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering analyses, design documentation, and verification activities for marine renewable energy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineering development of floating offshore wind projects.
• Perform and review seakeeping, hydrodynamic, and floating system analyses.
• Design mooring systems and conduct station‑keeping analyses.
• Carry out structural calculations and assist in offshore component verification.
• Assess environmental loads, metocean data, and offshore design criteria.
• Prepare design basis documents, calculation notes, technical specifications, and engineering reports.
• Use engineering tools such as ANSYS Mechanical, OrcaFlex, AQWA, or similar software.
• Develop scripts and post‑processing tools using Python and MATLAB.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or Civil Engineering, officially recognized in Spain.
• Valid work permit in Spain.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in offshore engineering, naval architecture, structural design, or hydrodynamics.
• Knowledge of floating systems, mooring design, seakeeping, environmental loads and metocean data.
