Operations Data Strategy Specialist

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an Operations Data Strategy Specialist to lead the design and implementation of its data strategy across manufacturing operations in Sevilla. You will join the Process, Methods & Tools team within Manufacturing Engineering and help drive data‑driven decision‑making using advanced analytics and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop and implement a data strategy based on data cleansing, infrastructure, and exploitation.
• Identify industrial data needs and integrate them into the overall simulation chain covering manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, quality and industrial assets.
• Lead the definition of the operations ontology and data model, ensuring traceability across value changes.
• Establish a business data governance model, including roles, policies and processes.
• Promote a data‑use culture across design, services and other operative areas.
• Support the definition, maintenance and improvement of processes, methods and tools within the Industrialisation and Produce & Deliver perimeter.
• Define a universal data model for the domain and implement BMS fulfil procedures for legacy and new programmes.
