Payroll Specialist – Danish Speaking (Málaga)

About the role

As a Payroll Specialist you will transform complex payroll processes into streamlined, high‑impact solutions for Danish‑speaking clients. You will work within SD Worx’s SAP Managed Payroll Services team, supporting international businesses and ensuring accurate, compliant payroll delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Orchestrate end‑to‑end payroll delivery for Danish customers.
• Manage process deviations, assess impact and propose solutions.
• Own change requests from requirements gathering through pricing, implementation, documentation and training.
• Maintain alignment with global and local standards while addressing client needs.
• Update and maintain process documentation such as SOPs, DWIs and guidelines.
• Handle complex payroll cases and act as the first escalation point.
• Support system updates, testing and implementations, including UAT and parallel runs.
• Communicate regularly with clients to ensure efficient payroll processing.
• Guide Payroll Administrators and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as tax authorities and benefits providers.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in payroll outsourcing or BPO environments.
• Fluent in Danish and English.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Payroll and Employee Central Payroll.
• Experience working with international clients and complex payroll operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
