About the role
The People & Culture Coordinator will support the Assistant Director of People & Culture in maintaining all HR administration, HRIS data, and staff records for SLS Barcelona. This role ensures the hotel’s culture aligns with the SLS brand, fostering an empowered and inclusive team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain up‑to‑date HR administration, HRIS information, and employee files.
- Ensure contracts and internal documents are prepared, signed, and archived promptly.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee and HRIS queries.
- Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, and HR guidance.
- Lead recruitment activities, from sourcing to onboarding, to build a talent pool.
- Promote SLS values, safety, fairness, and inclusion through engagement initiatives.
- Oversee accurate personnel records and compliance with hiring standards and Spanish labour law.
- Collaborate on European/global HR projects and training strategies with senior HR leaders.
Required profile
- University degree focused on Human Resources.
- Previous HR experience in hospitality (hotels or restaurants) in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Spanish labour legislation.
- High energy, motivation, and a proven ability to embody company values.
Required skills
- HRIS proficiency.
