Plastic Injection Mould Maintenance Technician

About the role

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), a global medical technology company, is looking for a Plastic Injection Mould Technician within its Engineering and Maintenance department. The role is based in Fraga, Huesca, and involves preventive and corrective maintenance of plastic injection moulds.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plastic injection moulds
• Diagnose and resolve faults in moulding operations
• Collaborate with spare parts suppliers
• Collaborate with mould manufacturers

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Mechanics
• Previous experience as a technician or mechanic is valued
• Knowledge of materials, heat treatments (TT) and coatings is highly valued
• Intermediate English is highly valued, at least for reading and writing
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
