Process Engineer – Horizontal Tail Plane (HTP) – Widebody

About the role

An opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid). The role is part of the Manufacturing Engineering Team for Widebody products, focusing on the Horizontal Tail Plane (HTP) of the A350 and A330.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate industrial requirements into all design phases, advocate for Design‑for‑Manufacture best practices and coordinate technical configuration management.
• Calculate operation‑level cycle times, design build processes and specify technical requirements for tooling, equipment and machinery.
• Create and update Routings, Bills of Materials and Standard Operating Instructions according to Airbus process standards.
• Implement Standard Work with Standard Time Values, conduct FMEA/PFMEA risk analyses and define measurement tasks for quality control.
• Act as Manufacturing Engineering signatory for Airbus Process Specifications, resolve complex shop‑floor escalations and support Run@Rate validations.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering, work preparation or production industrialisation within aerospace or high‑tech environments.
• Advanced English (minimum C1); Spanish is highly valued.
• Experience with A350/A330 HTP or composite/metallic structural assemblies is a plus.
