Procurement Coordinator / Buyer – Southern Europe

About the role

Veepee is looking for a Procurement Coordinator / Buyer to support its Southern European operations (mainly Spain and Italy) on a temporary basis from June 2024 to January 2026. The role offers a high degree of autonomy and requires managing suppliers and indirect spend categories while ensuring business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a spend perimeter across indirect categories such as Logistics, Facilities, Marketing, Customer Care and Professional Services.
• Lead end‑to‑end procurement processes (RFQ/RFP) and negotiate costs and contractual terms with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier contracts, renewals, performance and service quality.
• Oversee purchase order creation, spend control and KPI tracking.
• Act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders (business, finance, legal, etc.) and coordinate multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Identify risks and opportunities, build business cases and perform financial analysis to support decisions.
• Prepare and present supplier proposals, manage internal approvals and align with the Group Procurement team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, including end‑to‑end process management and supplier negotiation.
• Fluent English with daily use in an international setting.
• Strong autonomy, organizational and prioritisation skills.
• Hands‑on, execution‑oriented mindset and ability to work in less structured, fast‑paced environments.
