Product Design Intern - Quick Commerce

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Product Design Intern to join its Local Shops team in Barcelona. You will work on real mobile and desktop experiences for global brands and vendors, from first sketch to shipped feature, learning alongside experienced designers, product managers and engineers. The role focuses on the non-food side of quick commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Design the mobile fulfillment app for the Local Shops experience, from first sketch to developer handoff.
• Turn product problems into clear design solutions with guidance from senior designers.
• Ideate through prototypes and polished UI that follow the design system.
• Use user feedback, research insights and data to improve designs.
• Work with product managers, engineers and researchers to deliver features that balance user needs, business goals and technical feasibility.
• Share your work regularly in design critiques to gather feedback and iterate.

Required profile

• A design mindset: starting from the user's problem and explaining why a design works.
• Availability for a full-time, one-year internship.
• Nice to have: experience with Figma, use of Claude or other AI tools in design, a portfolio or academic projects showing mobile design work, and an interest in e-commerce or quick commerce.

Required skills

• Understanding of mobile design principles and common iOS and Android patterns.
• Basic wireframing and prototyping skills.
