Product Quality Engineer – Barcelona

About the role

LEON CYCLE, a fast‑growing retailer of premium electric bicycles, is looking for a Product Quality Engineer to join its Barcelona team. You will act as the bridge between local operations and overseas production, driving product quality improvements and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate product knowledge and quality initiatives between the local team and overseas factories.
• Identify quality issues, analyse root causes, implement corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness.
• Lead and oversee product quality improvement projects.
• Develop technical specification sheets, repair guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide technical support to B2B and B2C customers.
• Manage local electrical safety registrations.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Quality Management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar quality engineering role.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Mandarin speaking is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS management.
• Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action methodology.
• Proficiency with Excel and QMS software.
• Experience with office applications, collaboration tools and e‑commerce systems.
