Project Manager – Spain

About the role

Vortex is a global leader in innovative aquatic play solutions, designing splash pads and water experiences worldwide. We are looking for a Project Manager based in Spain to lead the delivery of installation projects, support customers and contractors, and ensure every project meets our high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee installation projects from design through final commissioning.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors and subcontractors throughout each project lifecycle.
• Manage on‑site installation teams, ensuring work complies with Vortex quality and safety standards.
• Travel to project sites across Spain and occasionally to other European locations.
• Conduct site meetings, monitor progress, perform final inspections and obtain customer sign‑off.
• Train customers and operators on equipment start‑up, operation and maintenance.
• Provide remote technical support via phone and email when off‑site.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate with internal teams and recommend solutions.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives, customer training and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience managing technical or construction‑related projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction, plumbing, civil works and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD).
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
• Safety‑first attitude and willingness to travel extensively throughout Spain and occasionally within Europe.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
