Project Supply Manager (PSM)

About the role

Airbus Crisa is looking for a Project Supply Manager to join its Supply Chain team within Procurement, which works across Launchers, Earth Exploration (Copernicus), Space Exploration (Artemis) and Commercial (Telecommunications Satellites) businesses. The PSM represents the whole Procurement organisation in front of Programmes and programmes in front of Procurement, capturing programme needs and consolidating procurement plans and dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and agree the procurement approach and organise tender evaluation, supplier selection and negotiation according to sourcing strategies and project constraints
• Coordinate supply management functions (procurement contract management, commodity management, supply chain and quality management, supplier development management)
• Prepare and submit a cost brochure detailing supply commitments (product prices plus procurement effort) and act as focal point for procurement and purchase matters within a product line or project
• Ensure purchasing processes are correctly and consistently applied and be accountable for on-time, on-cost, on-quality delivery of products and related documentation
• Facilitate the exchange of information and lessons learned between projects and issue consolidated reporting (hardware cost, TCO, OQ/OT metrics, issues, risks and opportunities)
• Manage hardware subcontracted activities such as EGSEs and harnesses with Programmes and MFTs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or finance
• Both English and Spanish at negotiation level
• Experience in procurement and/or legal and/or commercial areas
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating procurement and commercial contracts
• Experience dealing with customers and suppliers, able to interface with suppliers' higher management
• Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented mindset and ability to prioritise workload
