Project Test Engineer

About the role

Airbus CRISA is looking for a Project Test Engineer to join its technical team in the Madrid area. You will be responsible for defining and executing test strategies that verify electronic units meet customer requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in technical discussions with customers during the negotiation phase and support the project kick‑off.
• Assist the Project Manager with requirement assessment and risk identification.
• Collaborate with Technical, Product Assurance, Industrial, Validation and EEE/PCB managers to define the flight‑unit architecture and ground‑support equipment.
• Lead the verification cycle from requirement analysis to acceptance testing of flight deliverables.
• Supervise test engineers and technicians, ensuring alignment with project schedules, cost, and quality targets.

Required profile

• Strong background in electronic equipment verification and test management.
• Experience working in aerospace or space‑related projects.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, thermal, materials, radiation, FPGA, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and documentation.
