QA Engineer (Hybrid) – Madrid

About the role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our agile DevOps team in Madrid. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality web applications for internal and external users, with a strong emphasis on test automation and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for functional, regression and integration scenarios.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable quality checks.
• Define risk‑based test approaches and design automation solutions that meet functional and non‑functional goals.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners and designers to validate new features and identify defects early.
• Build a deep understanding of business processes, user journeys and application workflows to create meaningful test coverage.
• Review test results, support quality gates and continuously improve the automated QA process.

Required profile

• Experience working in an agile, cross‑functional team.
• Ability to understand and translate business processes into test scenarios.
• Strong communication skills for close collaboration with developers and product owners.
