Quality Assurance Officer Operations

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer Operations ensures that all manufacturing activities comply with GMP standards and internal quality policies. You will work closely with production and QA teams to guarantee that batches are released safely and on time, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise hygiene conditions of the premises under your management.
• Support validation and qualification of the production site, equipment, and personnel training.
• Authorize provisional release of batches for shipment.
• Work in shift with other QA officers to oversee production and quality‑control activities.
• Archive and manage GMP documentation, review batch records, and ensure timely closure of manufactured batches.
• Maintain the local quality system in line with GMPs and corporate guidelines.
• Assist the Qualified Person (QP) in preparing batch release documents.
• Contribute to the drafting of site GMP documents and batch paperwork.
• Compile data for product reviews, oversee investigations, and monitor corrective actions.
• Participate in self‑inspections and external audits.

Required profile

• Scientific degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or Biology.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Quality department.
• Strong awareness of quality issues and attention to detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of GMP and quality system requirements.
