Receptionist – Occidental Hotel Mar Menor

About the role

We are looking for a Receptionist to join the Occidental Hotel Mar Menor in Murcia. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage check‑in and welcome procedures for arriving guests.
• Handle check‑out and farewell processes.
• Provide in‑person and telephone customer service throughout the stay.
• Perform concierge duties and manage luggage storage.
• Review reservations and conduct night‑audit tasks.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing or a related field, with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum two years of customer‑service experience in the hotel sector.
• High level of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of office automation, hospitality operations, CRM tools and ISO standards is valued.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Understanding of ISO quality standards.
