Regional Operations Manager - Flex Living Portfolio

About the role

A rare leadership opportunity at the heart of Greystar's growing flex living platform in Spain. As Regional Operations Manager you will own the performance of a portfolio of 7 assets, 4,500 units and more than €1 billion in assets under management, with a direct line from strategy to day-to-day execution. You will lead a team including an Operations Manager overseeing the full portfolio and General Managers embedded in each asset. The role is based at Greystar's Spain headquarters in Madrid, with regular travel across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Drive NOI growth by executing revenue-generating initiatives, managing costs and optimising occupancy, and develop annual business plans for each asset
• Lead budgeting and reforecasting, review competitive intelligence and partner with central teams on pricing, leasing and marketing
• Design and improve operations processes, ensure assets are maintained, compliant and safe, and run regular inspections and reviews
• Manage procurement relationships for operating supplies, equipment and essential services
• Build a high-performing, values-driven team, develop the Operations Manager and General Managers, and recruit and manage team members
• Shape the business plan for future acquisitions and developments in Spain and advise investment, underwriting and repositioning decisions

Required profile

• Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
• Proven senior-level leadership of multi-site, multi-city operations, ideally in residential, hospitality, leisure or real estate
• Track record of delivering NOI growth and executing business plans against financial targets
• Experience launching or stabilising new assets, products or services
• Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Property management or accommodation business systems (training provided where needed)
• Working knowledge of tenancy and building management legislation or a relevant professional qualification is advantageous
