Regional Risk & Quality Associate (Experienced)

About the role

PwC is seeking a motivated professional to join its Regional Risk & Quality team on a full‑time basis. The role supports the firm’s Quality Management System (QMS) and contributes to risk assurance activities across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business process owners to perform risk assessments and implement required updates.
• Facilitate the operation of the QMS program, including controls status tracking, follow‑ups, and troubleshooting system issues.
• Test and monitor business‑operated controls to ensure effectiveness.
• Collect, analyse, and report on performance measures, KPIs and qualitative data.
• Prepare QMS‑related reports for assurance and firm leadership.
• Lead special projects such as implementing the PCAOB QC 1000 standard.
• Support internal network quality management review processes.

Required profile

• Background in audit or risk assurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.
• Strong professional scepticism and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable using PwC’s software, digital and AI tools.
• Proactive ownership, ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks.
• Strong organisational and project‑management capabilities.
• Experience with IT General Controls (ITGCs) and controls audit is a clear differentiator.
