About the role
Revolut is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to lead legal and compliance work for its payment and banking products. You will partner with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure new and existing financial services meet European regulatory standards while supporting rapid growth.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on structuring and launching new payment and banking products.
- Draft customer‑facing legal documentation for financial services.
- Manage regulatory expectations, applications, and ongoing compliance requirements.
- Engage with European and local regulators to secure approvals and address inquiries.
- Handle complex legal matters with tight deadlines, balancing leadership and hands‑on execution.
Required profile
- 6+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a law firm or in‑house legal team.
- Strong academic background and reputable law firm credentials.
- Proven experience advising on European financial regulations, including PSD2 and CRD.
- Excellent judgment, composure under pressure, and collaborative mindset.
- Fluent English communication skills.
