Restaurant Host/Hostess at Luxury Hotel

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is looking for a personable and efficient Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests in its flagship restaurant. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will ensure a smooth flow of guests, manage reservations, and uphold the high service standards expected at a luxury property.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the host/hostess stand each shift.
• Review the reservation book and make recommendations for optimal table arrangements.
• Welcome guests, take and handle reservations, and respond to email inquiries.
• Communicate guest needs and special requests to colleagues and managers.
• Manage the restaurant floor plan and ensure all dining areas are clean and properly set before opening.
• Inspect private dining rooms and assist with any necessary improvements.

Required profile

• Highly motivated team player with prior experience as a host/hostess in a prestigious hotel or restaurant.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
• Friendly, outgoing, and flexible personality with a passion for delivering high‑quality service.
• Legal right to work in Spain and fluency in both English and Spanish.
