Robotization of an A320 HTP Painting Booth Internship

About the role

Ready to join one of Airbus’ programmes in Spain, you will take part in a six‑month curricular practicum that forms your Bachelor’s final project. The mission is to design and validate the robotisation of an A320 HTP paint booth, improving occupational safety and production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the state of the art in automation for high‑temperature, high‑humidity paint booths.
• Develop a conceptual design for the robotic system.
• Perform operational safety analysis to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Create and run robotic simulations to validate the proposed solution.
• Conduct a critical review of the automation approach and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Enrolled in the final year of a Robotics, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering degree.
• English proficiency at least B2 (C1 desirable) and Spanish at least B1.
• Knowledge of material engineering, industrial planning, organization and composites.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in an international, team‑oriented environment.
