Safety Specialist – Commerce & Support

About the role

Heineken Spain is seeking a Safety Specialist to lead occupational safety for its commercial field force and corporate support functions. Based in Madrid, the role combines hands‑on field work, technical expertise and close partnership with business leaders to ensure a safe working environment across Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary health & safety contact for the commercial organization, supporting over 400 sales employees who work on the road.
• Lead and continuously improve the Road Safety & Driving Risk Prevention program, analysing accidents, trends and implementing preventive actions.
• Investigate incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis and deliver targeted safety training for sales teams and managers.
• Collaborate with Commerce leadership, HR, fleet management and external partners to align safety initiatives.
• Manage occupational safety for office environments in Madrid and Sevilla, coordinating risk assessments, ergonomics, emergency plans and drills.
• Oversee activities with external contractors, support psychosocial risk assessments and follow‑up action plans.
• Participate in legal and internal audits, support corporate H&S standards deployment and contribute to safety KPIs and culture initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree and Higher Technician qualification in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL).
• At least 5 years of experience in health & safety roles, preferably with mobile or field‑based workforces.
• Proven ability to analyse safety data, lead investigations and develop preventive measures.
