Sales Inside Specialist - MTA Products

About the role

Trane in MTA-Madrid is hiring a Sales Inside Specialist to provide sales support for the design, application and selection of MTA products. The position is on-site, five days a week, and involves working closely with specifying engineers, owners, contractors and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide MTA sales solutions by working with account managers in the assigned territory.
• Assist with estimating, submittals and order entry.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, advising corrective action and communicating with customers and colleagues.
• Build consultative relationships and trust with engineering and contracting customers.
• Support engineers with applications and understand the overall market sales strategy.
• Keep up with external market conditions and internal portfolio requirements, identify product gaps and work with the MTA Equipment Sales team to prioritise and eliminate them.
• Improve processes between acquisition and fulfillment to better serve customers.
• Act as liaison between field support personnel and the office, improving project handoff processes.

Required profile

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Sales is desirable.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the industrial sector.
• Experience selling equipment and services to industry clients.
• Advanced level of English.
• Highly proactive and goal-oriented, with strong communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
• Knowledge of reporting structures and systems such as Oracle and Hyperion is desired.
