Sector Manager – Hotel Occidental Puerto Banus

About the role

The Hotel Occidental Puerto Banus is looking for a proactive Sector Manager to oversee its food and beverage operations. You will ensure high standards of service, hygiene, and guest satisfaction while leading a team of waitstaff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and intervene in the delivery of food and beverage services across restaurants and bars.
• Plan shifts, manage resources, and control stock levels.
• Organise table assignments for waiters and monitor their performance.
• Correct staff actions, facilitate problem‑solving, and maintain a clean, hygienic environment.
• Oversee mise en place, take orders, and report any quality or presentation issues to the maître.

Required profile

• Medium or higher vocational training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio o Superior).
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a waiter, preferably in a similar supervisory role.
• High proficiency in English; additional language (French or German) is a plus.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capability to manage and motivate a team.
