Segment Manager - Business Planning

About the role

This role drives the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic business plans and initiatives, providing analysis and advice to management across domains and managing cross-functional teams. It builds complex statistical and financial models for forecasting, defines KPIs and metrics to measure business performance, and contributes to priority projects with insights and recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex data and business analysis to build business plans and identify recommendations and insights.
• Build complex statistical and financial models to forecast performance and coach others on model development.
• Define metrics to measure performance and set up processes to identify and close performance gaps.
• Manage complex, time-sensitive market research projects and prepare synthesized intelligence reports.
• Lead cross-functional teams across business planning activities and partner with business leaders to develop plans and spot new opportunities.
• Develop go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns.
• Identify advanced analytical tools, models and methods for key business decisions.

Required profile

• Four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field, or commensurate experience.
• Typically 7-10 years of experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, market research or a related field.
• Preferred: PMP certification.
