Senior Account Executive

About the role

Abacum is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive revenue growth for its Business Planning SaaS platform. You will focus on mid‑market and enterprise customers, guiding them from initial interest through to contract signing while collaborating closely with product and leadership teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for inbound and outbound opportunities, from lead qualification to closing.
• Engage C‑level executives (CFOs, Heads of Finance, FP&A leaders) to articulate Abacum’s value proposition.
• Generate and manage a robust pipeline of mid‑market accounts, targeting 4‑8 deals per quarter with sales cycles of 2‑6 months.
• Conduct product demonstrations and gather customer feedback to influence product roadmap.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth hand‑off and implementation for new customers.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of quota‑carrying experience in B2B SaaS sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience selling to finance functions or the office of the CFO is a plus.
• Strong consultative selling approach with excellent analytical and quantitative abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex sales cycles.
