Senior Accountant

About the role

INSUD PHARMA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Family Office team in Madrid. The role focuses on financial and tax accounting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and internal procedures while supporting the company’s dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile intercompany balances and post approved invoices and offset entries.
• Handle payroll posting, expense control, and payment management.
• Post intra‑company invoices, track assets, and manage cash outflows.
• Prepare and consolidate information for internal and external audits.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with accurate reconciliations.
• Produce financial and accounting reports tailored to business needs.
• Ensure all processes comply with the General Accounting Plan (PGC) and internal procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date accounting balances to meet legal and tax obligations.
• Develop and optimise processes, procedures, and tools to improve departmental efficiency.
• Adapt to unforeseen situations in a constantly changing environment.

Required profile

• Solid experience in financial and tax accounting.
• Strong command of accounting processes, month‑end closing, and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to support audits and produce clear financial reports.
• Agility to develop and optimise accounting procedures.
• Capability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Required skills

• SAP (or other ERP system)
