Senior Accountant – Remote

About the role

Savana, an award‑winning international medical data company, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The role is fully remote and focuses on managing intercompany transactions, tax compliance, billing, and financial reporting to support the company’s growth and research initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage intercompany transactions and perform reconciliations.
• Review accounting records to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Oversee tax compliance and coordinate with external advisors.
• Handle billing across multiple revenue streams and ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Support rolling revenue forecasts and cash‑flow analysis.
• Lead financial audits and prepare statutory filings, including annual accounts.
• Prepare technical memorandums and conduct financial analyses for business decisions.
• Operate in full compliance with Savana’s security policies and propose process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting from a Spanish university.
• Master’s degree or specialization in taxation or auditing is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
