Senior Android Developer (Remote)

About the role

Airalo is looking for a senior Android engineer to join its fully remote engineering team. You will help build and scale the eSIM platform that connects millions of travelers worldwide, working on high‑scale systems, carrier integrations, and both B2C and B2B products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise‑quality Android components based on product specifications.
• Implement new features and enhance existing functionality.
• Troubleshoot technical and application issues.
• Collaborate daily with developers across the full software development lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation for the Android application.
• Stay current with best practices and introduce new ideas.
• Write clean, testable code following coding guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Android development experience in an agile environment.
• Experience publishing and maintaining one or more Android apps.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a remote team.
