Senior Assurance Associate – Audit Services

About the role

PWC is seeking a Senior Assurance Associate to join its audit and assurance team in Port of Spain. You will work on financial statement audits, providing independent assessments that enhance the credibility of financial information for a range of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain reasonable assurance that financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error.
• Issue auditor’s reports that include clear opinions on the financial statements.
• Evaluate compliance with regulations, governance, and risk‑management processes.
• Build and maintain meaningful client relationships while guiding junior team members.
• Interpret data to develop insights and recommendations for clients.

Required profile

• ACCA qualified with at least two years of post‑qualification experience in audit, assurance, finance or accounting.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coach junior staff.
• Strong communication and analytical capabilities.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations and asking critical questions.
