Senior Computer Vision & Edge AI Engineer

About the role

Inetum is looking for a senior engineer with full, end-to-end technical ownership of the vision core of an industrial visual inspection product built on the NVIDIA platform. The role combines deep expertise in unsupervised anomaly detection and defect segmentation with production-grade GPU inference optimization and complete model lifecycle management, and also involves designing and leading the evolution of the pipeline orchestration toward a high-performance native C++ core that delivers real-time decisions on the factory floor.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the vision core of an industrial visual inspection product on the NVIDIA platform
• Apply unsupervised anomaly detection and supervised defect segmentation/detection methods, including handling imbalanced datasets and validating against plant-level metrics such as escape rate and false-reject rate
• Optimize GPU inference on NVIDIA hardware and manage the model lifecycle in production
• Design and evolve the pipeline orchestration toward a high-performance native C++ core
• Manage model versioning, monitoring, drift detection and retraining/rollback policies

Required profile

• Full-time position, 100% remote, with flexible hours

• Nice to have: industrial cameras (GigE Vision, ideally Basler Pylon), Anomalib, manufacturing quality context (automotive or regulated industry), ISA-95 and IEC 62443, and publications or open-source contributions in vision or anomaly detection

Required skills

• PyTorch, CNN and transformer vision architectures, ONNX export
• Anomaly detection (PatchCore, EfficientAD, PaDiM, student-teacher, normalizing flows) and segmentation (encoder-decoder, DETR-family)
• Modern C++ (C++17/20) and Linux, Docker, Git and CI
• CUDA, TensorRT, Triton Inference Server, profiling with Nsight
• Optional: MLflow, CVAT, GigE Vision, Anomalib, Azure IoT Edge and ML
