Senior Data Analyst – FP&A

About the role

The Business & Strategy Analytics team at Preply transforms data into strategic insights that guide leadership decisions. Working closely with the Director of FP&A, CFO and senior stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Operations and Data, you will support strategic planning, fundraising and the company’s journey toward an IPO.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the FP&A team to provide analytical insights that shape strategic planning, forecasting and company performance.
• Deliver executive‑ready analyses and presentations that support leadership decision‑making and fundraising activities.
• Lead end‑to‑end analytical initiatives, translating ambiguous business questions into actionable recommendations.
• Develop forecasting models, scenario analyses, driver‑based models and opportunity sizing to evaluate strategic decisions.
• Connect product, marketing and operational initiatives with business performance, identifying key revenue and profitability drivers.
• Conduct deep dives into business performance to uncover growth opportunities, operational improvements and emerging risks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Business, Growth or Financial Analytics.
• Strong SQL skills and confidence working independently with large, complex datasets.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, capable of influencing VP and C‑level stakeholders.
• Proven experience building forecasting, scenario and driver‑based financial models.
• Experience leading cross‑functional analytical initiatives from definition through implementation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment.
