Senior Data Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are actively seeking a Data Engineering Practitioner to join a healthcare‑industry project, focusing on data engineering, database, and Talend‑related tasks. In this role you will lead the design and implementation of complex data engineering solutions, set technical standards and mentor junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and construction of large‑scale data architectures, including data warehouses and data lakes.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers while driving technical excellence across the team.
• Troubleshoot intricate performance issues to ensure the infrastructure remains scalable, secure and resilient.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align data strategy with organizational needs and influence architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and building complex data engineering solutions and large‑scale architectures.
• Proven track record of leading high‑impact projects and contributing to data governance.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems, cloud data platforms and advanced ETL/ELT patterns.
