Senior DevOps Engineer – Hybrid (Barcelona)

About the role

Join a growing Middleware team to modernize critical platforms and services used worldwide. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will drive automation, CI/CD excellence, and platform reliability across on‑premises Kubernetes environments and legacy systems. The role is hybrid, based in Barcelona with three remote days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi‑site deployments.
• Operate and evolve on‑premises Kubernetes clusters and legacy platforms hosting business‑critical applications.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Troubleshoot complex production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.
• Support software release processes, automated testing, performance analysis and platform optimisation.
• Collaborate with Database, IT Operations, Product, Project Management and R&D teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevOps, SRE or Production Engineering environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
