Senior Front End Developer (Vue / Nuxt)

About the role

SQLI, a European leader in customer experience and digital transformation, is recruiting a Senior Front End Developer in Valencia. The role contributes to migrating an existing e-commerce platform and website to a modern, composable architecture based on MACH principles, using Vue.js and Nuxt 4, within a product team responsible for the Product Listing Page of the eCommerce application.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate the e-commerce platform and website to a composable, MACH-based architecture with Vue.js and Nuxt 4, focusing on the Product Listing Page.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable SSR frontend applications and end-to-end user journeys, adapting to team and business priorities.
• Improve customer experiences by delivering new features, optimising performance and improving code quality.
• Own frontend solutions from technical design through implementation, testing and production deployment.
• Use AI-powered development tools and coding agents to speed up development, refactoring, testing and problem solving.
• Take part in Scrum ceremonies, especially refinements, technical discussions and solution design.
• Work closely with backend engineers, product owners and UX/UI designers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience delivering production-grade frontend applications.
• Proven track record of building, maintaining and scaling frontend apps in production, with concrete projects and technical decisions.
• Fluent English.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot.

Required skills

• TypeScript and Vue.js and Nuxt.
• Client-side rendering (CSR), server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), hydration and client-server communication.
• Frontend architecture, component design, state management, API integration and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and production delivery.
