Senior Google Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

ING Hubs Spain is looking for a Google Cloud Security Engineer to join its ING Global CISO team, which is responsible for IT security across the ING group and serves many organisational units worldwide. The role focuses on ensuring the security and resilience of Google Cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the security and resilience of Google Cloud infrastructure
• Implement vulnerability management processes and controls
• Validate and enforce secure configurations of cloud-native solutions
• Work with containerised environments and implement Infrastructure as Code in Google Cloud

Required profile

• Demonstrated knowledge of security features in the GCP public cloud platform
• Experience implementing vulnerability management and enforcing secure configurations
• Programming skills in Python and scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a results-oriented approach

Required skills

• Containerised environments (AKS, K8S, Docker)
• Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines in Google Cloud
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)
• Extra points: OCI and VMware Cloud Foundation, ETL/data analytics tools (Apache NiFi, Kafka), Kusto Query Language, Documentation as Code (Sphinx, reStructuredText), and cloud and security certificates
