Senior Managing Consultant, Services Business Development

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior‑level consultant to lead the growth of its Data & Services business in Spain. You will work closely with the existing team to shape strategy, build high‑impact partnerships, and deliver customized payment solutions to financial institutions, merchants, fintechs and government entities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Data & Services growth strategy for Spain in collaboration with the local team.
• Identify critical market challenges and translate them into new business opportunities.
• Leverage the full portfolio of Mastercard Data & Services capabilities to design tailored solutions for clients.
• Prepare persuasive proposals and present them to senior client stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior‑level client management.
• Coordinate with Mastercard core teams to overcome external obstacles and secure leadership alignment.
• Partner with local project teams to ensure delivery quality and uncover follow‑up sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Background in top‑rated consulting or digital firms, preferably with payments or banking experience.
• Proven ability to engage with executive leadership of financial institutions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, creativity and strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
