Senior Mobile Engineer

About the role

StarkStark is creating the world’s most powerful electric motorcycles and is now developing the first vehicle smart display that runs on an Android phone. The display will let riders adjust engine power and other settings, delivering an immersive user experience. As a Senior Mobile Engineer you will lead the design and delivery of this Android application.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture and technical direction of the Android app, balancing quality, performance and speed.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of mobile features from definition through release and monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve complex performance, memory and stability issues, leveraging deep knowledge of multithreading, concurrency and data caching.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and business stakeholders to turn requirements into polished, user‑centric experiences.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, share mistakes openly and lead by example.
• Set and uphold standards for clean, stable and extensible code across the mobile team.
• Drive best practices in architecture, testing, CI/CD and tooling.
• Leverage AI tools as part of the development workflow to ship faster and with higher quality.
• Partner with other engineering teams to co‑design features across the stack.
• Stay current with mobile industry trends and proactively propose product improvements.
• Use data‑driven approaches such as A/B testing, feature flags and experimentation frameworks to validate impact.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date backlog and communicate frequently with engineers, product managers and the creative team.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience building Android applications for consumer products.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency and data caching.
• Ability to work effectively in a high‑performance, multidisciplinary team.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience using A/B testing, feature flags and experimentation.
• Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and continuous improvement.
