Senior Operations Manager – Photonics Manufacturing

About the role

iPronics is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead and scale its global photonics manufacturing ecosystem. You will ensure quality, reliability, and efficient execution as the company moves its programmable optical technology from prototype to full production.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, long‑term planning, production, supply‑chain and logistics to meet demand.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners worldwide.
• Define, implement and continuously improve operational processes to boost yield, reliability and scalability.
• Drive quality excellence using DfM, FMEA, SPC and yield‑management methodologies.
• Monitor performance metrics, conduct root‑cause analysis and lead corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align engineering, product and business goals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor, photonics or hardware manufacturing operations.
• Proven track record in supplier management, yield improvement and production execution in a fabless model.
• Experience in fast‑paced start‑up or scale‑up environments with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, international setting.
