Senior Procurement Specialist – Automotive KD/CKD Components

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to lead the end‑to‑end sourcing of KD/CKD automotive components for a major OEM. The role is based on‑site in Barcelona and requires close collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, logistics and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle procurement of automotive components, from supplier sourcing and RFQ issuance to quotation analysis, negotiation and delivery coordination.
• Oversee supplier and component management through RFQ, prototype, tooling, trial build, PPAP, SOP and mass production phases.
• Work with cross‑functional teams on supplier evaluation, APQP processes, quality improvement and readiness.
• Conduct cost breakdown analysis, benchmark studies, performance reviews and localisation projects.
• Monitor market trends, raw‑material costs, supplier capacity risks and supply‑chain challenges.
• Support sourcing for body structure, chassis, electrical and mechanical assemblies and manage corrective actions and supplier development.
• Prepare RFQ summaries, procurement reports and component cost analyses for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials or related field.
• 5–8 years of automotive procurement experience within OEM environments.
• Strong background in KD/CKD component sourcing and technical automotive procurement.
• Experience with international suppliers and cross‑functional global teams.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
