Senior Product Designer

About the role

Blacklane, a premium global chauffeur service operating in 50+ countries, is looking for a Senior Product Designer in Barcelona. The designer shapes end-to-end experiences across web and mobile platforms aligned with the company's luxury brand identity, leads design for complex journeys, sets a high quality standard and works closely with Product and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design, from discovery and wireframes through to high-fidelity UI that matches the brand identity.
• Craft refined interfaces with strong hierarchy, typography, composition and attention to detail.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define problems, shape scope and make trade-offs between user needs, business goals and technical constraints.
• Define success signals such as conversion, retention, engagement and operational efficiency, and use experimentation and data to strengthen design decisions.
• Work with engineers to provide implementation-ready specs and protect design intent during build.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, business needs and quantifiable results, and present concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
• Mentor and support other designers through feedback and practical guidance.

Required profile

• 6+ years of relevant product design experience, with a portfolio of shipped mobile and/or web work and clear evidence of outcomes.
• Expertise in interaction design, IA, user journeys and edge cases, plus polished UI and visual design with a strong sense of typography, layout and micro-interactions.
• Ability to translate flows and systems across Web, iOS and Android while respecting platform conventions.
• Comfortable using product signals and experimentation practices, and able to communicate and influence stakeholders.
• Nice to have: experience designing for premium or luxury brands.
