Senior Product Manager - Workforce & Resource Management

About the role

IFS is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to contribute to the strategy, discovery and delivery of operational workforce and resource management solutions for Construction & Engineering and adjacent industries. The role drives product initiatives from discovery through adoption, working with customers, engineering, design and industry experts to validate opportunities and build business cases. It is based in the United Kingdom with a global remit across North America, Europe and APMJA.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to product strategy and roadmaps, translating customer needs and market trends into focused investments and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Drive customer and market discovery by engaging directly with customers, partners and industry experts, validating opportunities and establishing design partners and lighthouse customers.
• Define the product by turning customer problems into outcomes and experiences, driving prototyping and validation with engineering and design teams.
• Build evidence-led investment cases and launch initiatives, measuring success through adoption, customer outcomes and business impact.
• Champion an AI-first approach to workforce management, exploring intelligent automation, new interaction models and agentic experiences on IFS Cloud.

Required profile

• Recent, hands-on experience owning a workforce, resource or crew scheduling product (shift scheduling, time & attendance, capacity planning or absence management) as a genuine Product Manager or Product Owner, not a BA or delivery lead.
• Product management experience delivering SaaS, workforce management, resource management, field service or enterprise software solutions, including strategy, roadmaps, discovery and adoption.
• Experience with workforce planning, scheduling, time and attendance, resource management, labour compliance, payroll integration or workforce analytics.
• Understanding of operationally intensive industries such as Construction & Engineering, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing or Field Service.
• Experience working with global customers and fluent English; willingness to travel internationally.
• Desirable: experience building AI-enabled enterprise software, modernising SaaS products, and exposure to business case development, pricing or product P&L ownership.
