Senior Project Manager – EPC/EPCM Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex industrial CAPEX projects under EPC/EPCM delivery models. The role will be based in Spain and will oversee projects exceeding €200 million or multiple projects over €50 million, ensuring technical excellence and contractual compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Direct large‑scale industrial projects (CAPEX > €200 M) or manage several €50 M+ projects simultaneously.
• Define and implement organizational structures, processes and standards aligned with EPC/EPCM and EPCM.I guidelines.
• Lead, recruit and mentor multidisciplinary teams of 10+ professionals.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders including clients, engineering, construction, supply chain and strategic partners.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, project governance, procurement and execution methodologies.
• Act as primary interface with senior‑level clients, leading negotiations, technical workshops and steering committees.
• Drive organizational development and contribute to the creation or consolidation of business units.
• Promote technical excellence through BIM, ISO best practices and FIDIC/NEC contractual frameworks.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Civil, Mechanical, Building) or Architecture.
• Minimum 15 years experience managing complex industrial projects, preferably under EPC/EPCM models.
• At least 5 years experience leading teams of 10+ members and establishing processes.
• Proven ability to work in international environments and align procedures with global teams.
• Advanced project‑management certifications (PMP, IPMA, Lean) are a plus.
