Senior Project Manager – SCADA Delivery

About the role

Hitachi is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex SCADA delivery projects across Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. You will be part of the Network Control EMEIA PMO team, overseeing projects from initiation to closure while supporting the energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multiple SCADA delivery projects, including scope definition, planning, resource allocation, risk management and stakeholder communication.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and budgets, tracking performance and adjusting as needed to meet timelines and cost targets.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues, preparing contingency plans and escalating critical concerns.
• Ensure high‑quality execution by applying project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Waterfall) and complying with Hitachi policies.
• Conduct project reviews and post‑implementation analyses to drive continuous improvement and contribute to Hitachi’s project management framework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of progressive project management experience, including 3–5 years in a senior role within a global, technology‑focused environment.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory; PMP certification is a plus.
