Senior Sales Manager - Proposals

About the role

GE Vernova, an energy company focused on electrification and decarbonization, is looking for a Senior Sales Manager - Proposals in Madrid. You will prepare and manage commercial proposals and bids, negotiate contracts, assess commercial risks and ensure compliance with contractual commitments. You will manage a medium-sized sales territory with autonomy within established commercial policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop proposals, including compiling and submitting tender documentation, and negotiate with customers
• Ensure deals deliver shareholder value and drive competitive pricing
• Use knowledge of the territory, product lines, markets and sales processes to execute strategy
• Stay aware of competitors and propose alternative solutions to complex day-to-day problems
• Carry out special regional and business-line projects related to process changes and the Commercial Operation process
• Own and contribute to individual KPI targets and mentor new entry members
• Act as a resource for colleagues, lead small low-risk projects and convey performance expectations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• Professional experience in sales, sales project management or a similar role in an industrial environment
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Spanish or French are an advantage
• Strong oral and written communication skills and problem-solving ability

What we offer

• Pay between EUR 60,000 and EUR 90,000 gross per year, set according to the Metalworking collective agreement
• Eligibility for a sales incentive compensation plan with a target of 20% of base salary
